Description
This healthy homemade chia jam is easy to make and can be customized with your favorite fruits.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh or frozen fruit
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the fruit and lemon juice over medium heat.
- Cook until the fruit is softened, about 5-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mash the fruit to your desired consistency.
- Add the chia seeds and honey or maple syrup, stir well, and let sit for about 10 minutes.
- Store in a jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
