Description
This delicious Pâté de Sardine is a perfect spread for crackers or bread, rich in flavor and easy to prepare.
Ingredients

- 1 can sardines in oil
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 small shallot, chopped
- 1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine sardines, cream cheese, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.
- Mash the mixture until well combined.
- Add shallot, capers, parsley, salt, and pepper; stir until mixed.
- Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with crackers or bread.

- Can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
- Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for best results.
