Description

This delicious Pâté de Sardine is a perfect spread for crackers or bread, rich in flavor and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can sardines in oil
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 small shallot, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine sardines, cream cheese, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.
  2. Mash the mixture until well combined.
  3. Add shallot, capers, parsley, salt, and pepper; stir until mixed.
  4. Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve with crackers or bread.
