This Chicken Wellington with Dijon Cream Sauce is a deliciously elegant dish, perfect for special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the mushrooms until soft.
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook them until browned.
  4. Spread Dijon mustard on the chicken breasts.
  5. Wrap each chicken breast with sautéed mushrooms in puff pastry.
