Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Add melted butter, vanilla, and eggs; mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread almond paste evenly over the surface.
- Sprinkle sliced almonds on top and roll tightly into a log.
- Slice the log into rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze, then drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
