Description

This Italian Cheese Log is a delightful appetizer perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup red pepper, finely chopped


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  2. Add basil, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. If desired, fold in walnuts and red pepper.
  4. Shape the mixture into a log using plastic wrap.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  6. Serve with crackers or bread.
