Description

A delightful cake infused with jasmine tea, peach flavor, and vanilla, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons jasmine tea, brewed and cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, diced


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, starting and ending with the flour.
  6. Stir in the jasmine tea and vanilla extract.
  7. Gently fold in the diced peaches.
  8. Pour the batter into a prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
