Description

A delicious low-carb alternative to traditional hot dogs, made with keto-friendly ingredients and served in a homemade bun.


Ingredients

  • 6 hot dogs
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix eggs, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Shape the dough into bun shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before placing hot dogs inside.
