Description

A delicious and healthy Keto Shakshuka recipe featuring ripe tomatoes, garlic, and spices, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until soft.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Cook until fragrant.
  4. Pour in crushed tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Create small wells in the tomato mixture and crack an egg into each well.
  6. Cover the skillet and cook until the eggs are set to your liking.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
