Description

A delicious Korean steak sandwich with marinated beef and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 4 sandwich rolls
  • 1 cup kimchi
  • 1 cup cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill the steak over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to desired doneness.
  3. Let the meat rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly.
  4. Toast sandwich rolls on the grill for a few minutes.
  5. Assemble the sandwiches by placing sliced steak on the rolls and topping with kimchi, cucumber, and green onions.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sriracha or another hot sauce.
