- 1 pound lamb sweetbreads
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- Soak the lamb sweetbreads in milk for at least 2 hours.
- Drain and rinse the sweetbreads under cold water.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Dredge the sweetbreads in the flour mixture, coating evenly.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Carefully add the sweetbreads to the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

- For extra flavor, let the sweetbreads marinate overnight in the milk.
