- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add egg yolk and cold water; mix until dough forms. Press into a tart pan.
- Bake crust for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
- While crust is baking, mix almond flour, honey, heavy cream, eggs, lavender, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Pour the almond filling into the baked tart crust.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set and lightly browned.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with fresh berries for added flavor.
- For a stronger lavender flavor, steep dried lavender in cream before mixing with other ingredients.
