Description

Deliciously tangy lemon brownies with a soft, fudgy texture and a sweet lemon glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest

  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice (for glaze)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs, lemon juice, and zest; mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; mix until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with lemon juice and drizzle over brownies after cooling.
