- 2 cans sardines in olive oil
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant.
- Add sardines (with oil), lemon zest, and lemon juice to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Toss in the cooked spaghetti and parsley, mixing well to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

- For a creamier sauce, add a splash of cream or grated cheese before serving.
