Description

A nutritious and delicious flatbread made with lentils and spinach, perfect for wraps or as a side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried lentils
  • 2 cups spinach, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup flour (optional, for dusting)


Instructions

  1. Rinse the lentils and cook them in a pot with water until tender.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the cooked lentils with chopped spinach, salt, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and olive oil.
  3. Blend the mixture until smooth.
  4. Add baking powder and blend briefly.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour a ladle of the mixture into the skillet.
  6. Cook on each side for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  8. Serve warm.

  • For added flavor, you can include herbs like cilantro or parsley.
