Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy.
- Mix in the warm milk and melted butter.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the egg mixture.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the egg whites into the batter gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
