Description

A deliciously creamy mac and cheese with succulent lobster pieces.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for about 2 minutes.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in mustard, cheddar cheese until melted.
  5. Fold in the macaroni and lobster meat.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • Use freshly cooked lobster for best flavor.
