Description

This dish features tender mushrooms coated in a spicy, savory gochujang sauce, making it a perfect side or topping for various meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms and slice them if they are large.
  2. In a bowl, mix the gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
  3. Add the mushrooms to the marinade and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated mushrooms.
  5. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender and the sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For a milder version, reduce the amount of gochujang.
  • These mushrooms pair well with rice or can be used as a topping for salads.
