Description

These Maple-Bourbon Glazed Short Ribs are tender, flavorful, and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pounds beef short ribs
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine bourbon, maple syrup, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, black pepper, salt, and crushed red pepper.
  3. Season short ribs with salt and pepper, then sear them in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
  4. Remove short ribs from the pot and pour the sauce mixture into the pot, scraping up any browned bits.
  5. Return short ribs to the pot, cover, and place in the oven.
  6. Bake for 4 hours or until the meat is tender and falling off the bone.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest before serving.

Notes
