A deliciously unique twist on classic banana bread with the addition of matcha and white chocolate.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas and stir in the melted butter.
- Add the vanilla and egg, and mix until combined.
- Stir in the baking soda and salt, then gradually mix in the flour and matcha powder until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
Notes
- For an extra touch, drizzle with white chocolate before serving.
- Ensure bananas are very ripe for best flavor.
