Description

A deliciously unique twist on classic banana bread with the addition of matcha and white chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas and stir in the melted butter.
  3. Add the vanilla and egg, and mix until combined.
  4. Stir in the baking soda and salt, then gradually mix in the flour and matcha powder until just combined.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, drizzle with white chocolate before serving.
  • Ensure bananas are very ripe for best flavor.
