Description

These delicious matcha brownies are infused with the earthy flavors of matcha green tea and swirled with creamy white chocolate for an enticing treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, matcha powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For a stronger matcha flavor, increase the matcha powder by 1 tablespoon.
