Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the butter until creamy, then add the eggs and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
  5. Fill cupcake liners with the batter and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Let cool before frosting.
