Description

A delicious take on a classic sandwich, the Mini Muffuletta is perfect for gatherings and parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ciabatta bread, cut into rounds
  • 8 ounces Genoa salami, sliced
  • 8 ounces mortadella, sliced
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup olive tapenade
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the ciabatta rounds in half and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the olive tapenade on the bottom half of each ciabatta round.
  4. Layer the salami, mortadella, and provolone cheese on top of the tapenade.
  5. Add roasted red peppers on top and close with the other half of the ciabatta.
  6. Wrap the sandwiches in foil and bake for about 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the oven, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

  • These sandwiches can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
  • They taste even better when allowed to sit for a few hours.
