Description

Delicious miniature almond tarts that are perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup apricot jam
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, sugar, butter, egg yolk, almond extract, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut into circles to fit mini muffin tins.
  4. Press the dough into the tins and fill each with a spoonful of apricot jam.
  5. Top with sliced almonds.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overbake the tarts to keep them moist.
