- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir to combine.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Punch down the risen dough and spread it into a greased pan.
- For the topping, mix brown sugar, flour, butter, and cinnamon until crumbly. Sprinkle over the dough.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
