- 1 cup almonds, finely ground
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 package phyllo dough
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground almonds, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough and brush with melted butter.
- Place a small amount of the almond mixture at one end and roll it tightly into a cigar shape.
- Place on a baking sheet and repeat with remaining phyllo and filling.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drizzle with honey while warm.
Notes
- Make sure to keep the phyllo dough covered with a damp cloth to prevent it from drying out.
- These can be served warm or at room temperature.
