Description

A delicious and easy recipe for mussels cooked in a flavorful garlic-butter broth, perfect for any seafood lover.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds mussels, cleaned
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and stir in the red pepper flakes.
  4. Bring to a simmer, then add the cleaned mussels to the pot.
  5. Cover the pot and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the mussels open up.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in the fresh parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
