Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups water
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup milk or plant-based milk
- 1 tablespoon chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
- Add rolled oats and reduce heat to medium, cooking until soft.
- Stir in the mashed banana and cinnamon.
- Remove from heat and add milk, stirring to combine.
- Serve warm, topped with chopped nuts if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to add other fruits for added flavor.
- You can adjust the consistency by adding more or less milk.
