Description

A healthy and delicious breakfast option made with bananas and oats.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup milk or plant-based milk
  • 1 tablespoon chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add rolled oats and reduce heat to medium, cooking until soft.
  3. Stir in the mashed banana and cinnamon.
  4. Remove from heat and add milk, stirring to combine.
  5. Serve warm, topped with chopped nuts if desired.
