Description

A rich and moist chocolate cake infused with Nutella, perfect for any chocolate lover.


Ingredients

  • 1 Âľ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup Nutella


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla; mix on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the boiling water (the batter will be thin).
  6. Pour evenly into the prepared pans.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes, then remove to wire racks.
  9. Once cool, spread Nutella between the layers and on top of the cake.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can add a layer of whipped cream between the layers.
  • This cake can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
