Description

Delicious and moist brownies made with oat flour and beet puree, perfect for a chocolate craving!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 cup beet puree
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. In another bowl, combine the beet puree, maple syrup, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For a sweeter brownie, increase the maple syrup by a few tablespoons.
  • These brownies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
