Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cardamom.
- Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, orange zest, orange juice, and milk.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
- Roll out dough and cut into desired shapes.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Let cool and serve.
Notes
- For a sweeter version, add more sugar to the dough.
