Description

The perfect baked potato is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, a delicious side dish for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and dry the potatoes, then prick them all over with a fork.
  3. Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
  4. Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack.
  5. Bake for 45-60 minutes, until the skin is crispy and a fork easily pierces the flesh.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add garlic powder or herbs to the olive oil before rubbing it on the potatoes.
  • Leftover baked potatoes can be stored in the fridge and reheated in the oven or microwave.
