Description

This Perfect Greek Pita recipe will take your homemade bread to the next level!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water


Instructions

  6. Preheat the oven to 500°F (260°C) with a baking stone or baking sheet inside.
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into balls.
  8. Roll each ball into a flat circle.
  9. Bake on the preheated stone or sheet until puffed and slightly browned, about 5-7 minutes.
