Delicious homemade pistachio croissants with a rich, nutty filling.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup pistachios, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add chilled butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in milk and egg, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough gently and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough and cut into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of chopped pistachios on each triangle and roll them up.
- Place rolled croissants on a baking sheet and let rise.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of almond extract to the pistachio filling.
- These croissants are best served warm.
