Description

Delicious pistachio lava donuts filled with a warm, gooey pistachio center.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup pistachio paste
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, pistachio paste, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill each donut cavity halfway with batter. Add a small dollop of pistachio paste in the center and cover with more batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Best served warm for the gooey center.
  • Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
