Description
Delicious pistachio lava donuts filled with a warm, gooey pistachio center.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup pistachio paste
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the donut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, pistachio paste, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fill each donut cavity halfway with batter. Add a small dollop of pistachio paste in the center and cover with more batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Best served warm for the gooey center.
- Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
