A delicious twist on the classic tiramisu featuring the creamy and nutty flavors of pistachio.
Ingredients

- 1 cup shelled pistachios
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
- In a food processor, blend pistachios and sugar until fine.
- In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese with the pistachio mixture.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold into the mascarpone mixture.
- Combine espresso and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
- Dip ladyfingers briefly into the espresso mixture, then layer in a serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter dessert, use light mascarpone cheese.
- Garnish with crushed pistachios before serving for added texture.
