Description

A luxurious and flavorful pâté made with liver and enhanced with the sweetness of pomegranate.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken livers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 baguette, sliced


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add shallots.
  2. Cook until soft, then add chicken livers, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook until livers are browned and cooked through.
  4. Add pomegranate juice and thyme, stir well to combine.
  5. Transfer mixture to a food processor and blend until smooth.
  6. Stir in pomegranate seeds before chilling.
  7. Serve on baguette slices.
