Description

This Pomegranate Pecan Baked Brie Wreath is a festive appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings, featuring melty brie cheese topped with sweet and tart pomegranate and crunchy pecans.


Ingredients

  • 1 large round brie cheese
  • 1 cup pomegranate arils
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 package of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (chopped)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into strips.
  3. Place the brie in the center of a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a bowl, mix pomegranate arils, chopped pecans, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  5. Top the brie with the pomegranate mixture, then wrap with the puff pastry strips.
  6. Brush pastry with beaten egg and sprinkle rosemary on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
