Description

A delicious appetizer featuring quail eggs wrapped in savory prosciutto.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 quail eggs
  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Carefully add the quail eggs and boil for about 4 minutes.
  2. Remove the eggs and place them in an ice bath to cool.
  3. Once cooled, peel the quail eggs.
  4. Cut each slice of prosciutto in half and wrap around each quail egg.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add the wrapped eggs and cook until the prosciutto is crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
