Description

A delicious twist on the classic tiramisu, featuring coconut and Raffaello chocolates for a tropical indulgence.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200 grams savoiardi (ladyfingers)
  • 400 grams mascarpone cheese
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 100 grams desiccated coconut
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 Raffaello chocolates, for garnish
  • 50 ml espresso, cooled


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese with coconut milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Dip the savoiardi briefly in espresso and layer them in a dish.
  5. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the savoiardi.
  6. Repeat the layers, finishing with the mascarpone mixture on top.
  7. Sprinkle with desiccated coconut and top with Raffaello chocolates.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • This dessert is best made a day in advance to allow the flavors to meld.
  • For a non-caffeinated version, substitute espresso with warm water or coconut milk.
