A delicious Raspberry Custard Gratin perfect for a sweet treat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter, for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Spread the raspberries evenly in the bottom of the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture over the raspberries.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the custard is set and lightly golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use vanilla bean instead of extract.
- Can substitute raspberries with other berries if desired.
- Serve warm or chilled, with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
