Description

A delicious Raspberry Custard Gratin perfect for a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter, for greasing


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Spread the raspberries evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  5. Pour the custard mixture over the raspberries.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the custard is set and lightly golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use vanilla bean instead of extract.
  • Can substitute raspberries with other berries if desired.
