- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 12 oz white chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix according to package directions, adding buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
- Bake as directed, then let the cake cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add the cream cheese mixture to the crumbled cake and mix well.
- Form the mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Dip each ball in melted white chocolate and place on parchment paper to set.
- Let the chocolate harden before serving.
