Ingredients

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 oz white chocolate, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package directions, adding buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Bake as directed, then let the cake cool completely.
  4. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
  5. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Add the cream cheese mixture to the crumbled cake and mix well.
  7. Form the mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  9. Dip each ball in melted white chocolate and place on parchment paper to set.
