Delicious and festive reindeer-shaped cookies perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup red candy noses (e.g. M&M’s)
- 1 cup pretzel twists, for antlers
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, shaping them into reindeer heads.
- Press two pretzel twists into the top of each cookie for antlers.
- Place a red candy nose on each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature.
- For added decoration, use icing to add eyes and a mouth.
