Delicious rice paper dumplings filled with succulent shrimp, a delightful twist on traditional har gow.
Ingredients

- 1 package rice paper wrappers
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup water chestnuts, chopped
- 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Instructions
- Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until pliable.
- In a bowl, mix shrimp, water chestnuts, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, salt, and white pepper.
- Place a spoonful of shrimp mixture onto each wrapper and fold into a dumpling shape.
- Steam dumplings for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve with soy sauce or your preferred dipping sauce.
Notes
- Make sure the rice paper is not too soft when filling.
- Experiment with additional fillings as desired.
