Description

This Rich & Creamy Guava Cheesecake is a delightful dessert that combines the flavor of tropical guava with a creamy cheesecake texture.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup guava puree
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the guava puree, sour cream, and sugar; mix well.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add the vanilla and salt.
  5. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

  • Using fresh guava puree will enhance the flavor of the cheesecake.
  • Serve with a topping of whipped cream and slices of guava for added presentation.
