Description

A delicious and aromatic roasted duck recipe infused with rosemary and garlic.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole duck
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the duck, including under the skin.
  4. Place the duck in a roasting pan and roast for approximately 2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Let the duck rest for 15 minutes before carving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last 20 minutes of roasting.
  • Serve with seasonal vegetables for a complete meal.
