Description

A delicious and healthy alternative to traditional breadsticks, these Rosemary-Parmesan Cauliflower Breadsticks are cheesy, herb-infused, and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cauliflower rice (approximately 1 medium head of cauliflower)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (for brushing)
  • Fresh thyme sprigs (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower rice, egg, Parmesan cheese, onion powder, dried thyme, sea salt, black pepper, and chili flakes (if using). Stir until the mixture is uniform.
  3. Spoon the mixture onto the lined baking sheet and spread it out into a rectangle, aiming for a thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the top of the mixture and use a brush to evenly coat it.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the center feels firm to the touch.
  6. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Slice the breadsticks into strips for serving.
  7. If desired, finish with a sprinkle of fresh thyme sprigs for an aromatic touch.
