Description
A delicious and healthy alternative to traditional breadsticks, these Rosemary-Parmesan Cauliflower Breadsticks are cheesy, herb-infused, and easy to make.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cauliflower rice (approximately 1 medium head of cauliflower)
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (for brushing)
- Fresh thyme sprigs (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower rice, egg, Parmesan cheese, onion powder, dried thyme, sea salt, black pepper, and chili flakes (if using). Stir until the mixture is uniform.
- Spoon the mixture onto the lined baking sheet and spread it out into a rectangle, aiming for a thickness of about 1/2 inch.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top of the mixture and use a brush to evenly coat it.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the center feels firm to the touch.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Slice the breadsticks into strips for serving.
- If desired, finish with a sprinkle of fresh thyme sprigs for an aromatic touch.
