A traditional layered cake made with honey and rich cream.
Ingredients

- 1 cup honey
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix honey and eggs until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and sugar.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the cake cool and prepare the cream.
- Mix sour cream and heavy cream, then layer it between the cake layers.
- Chill before serving.
Notes
- Let the cake sit for a day for the flavors to meld.
- Top with additional cream and honey if desired.
