Description

A traditional layered cake made with honey and rich cream.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix honey and eggs until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and sugar.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let the cake cool and prepare the cream.
  8. Mix sour cream and heavy cream, then layer it between the cake layers.
  9. Chill before serving.
