Description

These decadent salted caramel brownies are the perfect blend of rich chocolate flavor and sweet, sticky caramel.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter and both sugars over medium heat.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the eggs and vanilla.
  4. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish.
  6. Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the brownie batter.
  7. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and then drizzle the remaining salted caramel sauce.
  8. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
  9. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow to cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For an extra rich flavor, use high-quality chocolate and cocoa powder.
  • These brownies can be served warm or chilled; both are delicious!
