Description

Delicious chocolate truffles inspired by the flavors of Samoa cookies, featuring a rich coconut and caramel center.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
  2. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  3. Once chilled, form small balls of the mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth.
  5. Dip each coconut ball into the chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce over the chocolate-coated truffles.
  7. Refrigerate until the chocolate is set.
