Deliciously seasoned meatloaf filled with a savory mushroom mixture, shaped into a festive wreath perfect for gatherings.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups mushrooms, chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, sauté onions and garlic until translucent, then add mushrooms and cook until tender.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Add the mushroom mixture and parsley to the meat mixture and mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking sheet and shape it into a wreath.
- Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf wreath.
- Bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
- This meatloaf can also be made ahead and reheated for serving.
